As a relatively young organisation we hadn’t used external assessors before and there was some concern from the Hiring and Operational Teams about how we could maintain our culture and high hiring bar when using assessors who were not our own employees.

However, the team we have been using at Reed Consultancy+ has slotted in easily and are now viewed by all as an extension of our interview team. This has really added value and helped to up-skill our internal teams in interview technique. One Housing have worked with Consultancy+ since Autumn 2018. Having appointed Reed Talent Solutions as our RPO for permanent and temporary recruitment, we implemented a major change to our ways of working for hiring managers across our business. This included new recruitment systems, processes and a revised approach to selection.

Consultancy+’s lead associate Claire was engaged to help us with the bespoke design and delivery of a workshop to up-skill hiring managers across One Housing. The workshop was designed to explain the new ways of working to hiring managers, to help them understand the new recruitment process and give them a foundation in how to formulate and conduct effective interviews. Having over 20 years’ experience in the industry Claire has proven to be a fantastic asset in partnering with us to implement this element of our strategy.

The workshops were delivered to cohorts of managers from across our business, with varying degrees of experience and Claire was able to put them at ease and share her expertise in an engaging and informative way. Delivery was to over 200 managers across 20+ workshops.
